I'm back from Hanoi

A very good morning to all my girl friends hor, thank you for your comments. I am back from Hanoi yesterday (Thursday).

Thank you Nicole, Eileen, Joanne and May for your message. I received and is touched by your 'zhu fu'. Eileen, I have no time for sight seeing and shopping, so sorry no photos of Hanoi lei.

Auntie Irene, hee hee the chicken feets is still in my freezer hahaha. sorry that night never answer your calls... I sms Nicole to tell you I last mins went overseas.

Now I am back to work..... Whew!! This is really the first time that I need to fly off in such a short notice, less then 6 hours of arrangement and I am off.

The weather in Hanoi is quite cold, 20plus in the day and less then 20 in the night. And I did not bring any jacket or sweater! Because I have no time to check what the weather like.

It a very backward country, lots and lots of motor bikes on the roads, no divider on the road and no marking at all. Left, right all bikes and cars. Buffalos crossing the roads as well... hee hee.

People still used a bamboo and carries two baskets of fruits walking around selling their fruits.

Air is polluted, everyone is wearing a face masks makes from cloths......

I think Hanoi grow bananas... hahahha becoz every meal breakfast, lunch and dinner their fresh fruits is Bananas! No wonder the people there are so happy.

Okay, catch up with you all later, must get back to work to clear my backlogs..... Have a good weekend every one.

20oC is really considered as "cold" there in Hanoi, it should be better defined as "cool" weather.

You were there in November, that was just the (very) beginning of winter. From December to February temperature will drop down to around 10oC and can reach 2oC in some years. With high humidity plus drizzle, frequently foggy and cloudy sky (which means sunshine is very rare), it will become barely cold there.

Hanoi locates in northern Vietnam, which is the only major region in Southeast Asia that features a subtropical climate.

Cheers,
NHD
