It's has been a really long time I didn't do much cooking. When I saw what Nicole and Margaret blog I said to myself that I must cook all the chicken dishes shown there. But somehow I wanted didn't get around to do it.
So finally last night, I called Aunty Irene and asked her to cook the Black Pepper Chicken, without any hesitation to teach me how to do it and she guide me through step by step.
I'm really lost for words, she is always so willing to teach, guide and share so unconditionally.
她总是很乐意而且很详细的解释给我听。哎!真是欠她太多了。。。。
我能做的!就是好好的努力学习做好每一道菜肴,才不愧当她的徒弟。
and I have no where to copy and paste. hahahaha.
HAHHAH..... FEI HUA! right.
Don't laugh please, this is only the 2nd time I made Kueh Lapis, I made this for my eldest sister in law, is her birthday today. She likes to eat lapis but she is a very practical person she thinks is too expensive to buy.
So I thought I surprise her by doing it, unfortunately the final top layer was a little burned.
Sighnnn.... called Shifu, she said you can only save it either by doing another layer, which i said huh one layer means must do it all over again.
Then she suggest cover it with powder lah,... hahahah. no choice lor, lazy to do again so here you are Kueh Lapis with icing sugar topping.
But my sister in law was so touched by my action, coz I bring it all the way from west to Potong Pasir where she stay.

wow... so many thing to eat le... i like the chicken chop and cookies and kuih lapis...
ermm... the white chocolate i dont really like... i more prefer dark chocolate... hee hee...

Hmmmm..... I will remember ok, next time I shall try the Dark Chocolate and will give to you as Christmas present. Hee hee....no more Merci chocolate for you liao. Is call 温心 chocolate。
