Chinese New Year Cookies

All this will not happen if not for the effort of Auntie Irene, introducing so many different types of homemade cookies to me.

在此我真的非常感谢 Auntie Irene 得教导。让我可以亲自做新年糕点。

1) cashew nuts cookies, 2) kok chai, 3) peanut cookies 4) pineapple tarts and last but not least deep dried mini spring rolls - filling is sambal prawns and pork floss.

I guess everyone is now busy making new year cookies, I am no exception I do am busy doing some cookies for my sisters in law and one or two closed friends...

Here are what I havd made so far, and is still on going, probably on this weekend I will do my homemade vegetatian popiah and cook a vegetatian dish as well but till then here is what i am made......这就是我的黄梨， 这次我做了金条咯，不是金蛋了。口感还是一样好吃。

the texture is very soft and nice, is different from what we bought from the market, dried. I remember I used to buy from .... the texture is so dried after eating you have to drink water to swallow it down.
