Because chinese new year is coming and I remember we ordered yam cake and carrot cake from a famous restaurant and keep it in the fridge and fried it back when for visitors when they drop by. So suddenly I remember auntie irene taught over 972 how to make raddish cake, so I thought why not give it a try and if successful this year can make it myself instead of buying lo.
Well, successful liao, my hubby likes saltish food and he said is tasty and nice :)
I will make this during chinese new year period.
Meatballs
This dish is from 厨房笔记, when I first took down the receipe for this meatballs I was thinking it must be a deep fried dish... but am surprise that it was suppose to be stirred fried. hmmm I thought I want deep fried meatball, but I am in for a big surprise... This dish is something new and definitely awesome. 真是了不得,非常好吃, 不一样的口味。
Kong bao Ji Ding

Wow I didn't know it has been so long since I last updated my blog. After all the festives count down, have been feeling lethargic, lazy... put it simply.... idling and day dreaming.
Oh yes, I want to say thank you Richard for helping me to put more colour into my blog, now I can select the colour for my words and can make it any which way I want. ha ha ha showing off liao...
And I have not been doing any baking since then. But I did make some dishes during these few days, too much of cakes and pastries, so I thought I make the raddish (carrot) cajke. Hmmm.... turn out to be not bad, quite tasty.
I also tried out the Gong Pao Ji Ding and the Meatballs too. I will post the photos up tonight IF I am not lazy. he hehee...
