Swiss Roll

今晚心血来朝就做了削了皮的树恫,只洒下一些糖粉当是雪,因为只想看我会不会卷城一个树恫。

Step 1, straight from oven

2nd step successfully turn the swiss roll over, but coated some sugar before turning it, doing exactly what Aunty Irene thought me that day.

step 3 apply the chocolate cream

step 4 - here is the most difficult, do roll the cake into the shape of a log...

And here is the final outlook of my swiss roll.
I did not made the cream etc and decorate it like a christmas log cake, coz I just want to try and learn to roll the cake. I had a little difficulty at the start that why the cake look a little flat and not very round.
I will make again, to practise on the rolling part. whew made on my own and made with aunty irene guidance is so different, with Aunty Irene around it looks so easy. Thank you again aunty irene... muak.

Good attempt! Your sugar swiss rolls looks perfect, like what we buy from the confectionary shop, hahaha. Looks like your the new oven is really worthwhile, so far your butter cake & swiss roll were very nicely baked. Yes, good idea to try step by step, practice & master the swiss roll first, then proceed to the cream. Auntie Irene will be very pleased to see your achievement & improvement.

Anthony, I think by the time christmas arrived, my family refused to eat any more of my log cake. hahaha

Eileen, yes must practice alot, the first roll is difficult so you see my log cake a little like pillow..hehehe
