Nanjing Sep 07

南京小吃
Sichuan pickle with Fish
Vinegar with Green pepper.

My company had an exhibition in Nanjing, the show starts from 17-19 Sep, this is my 2nd time to Nanjing. Firstly, there is a slight improvement as in there is a direct flight to Nanjing by SQ. Direct flight is about 5 hours. But it is not on a daily basis, so I have to leave on Sunday and fly back on Wed which happened to coinside with the show. Previously, we have to transit from Hong Kong, and it take almost 1 full day to arrive in Nanjing.

The weather over there should be fair and cloudy through out my four days there, but it is not so, it rained on the 3rd and 4th day. It was affected by the typhoon.

Nanjing has a lot of vehicles, bicycles and prediantrains on the road. It like cars are coming from every corner, drives bonnets to bonnets, car horns never stop too.

I did some sightseeing at Hunan Lu and Fu Zhi Miao (Confusicus Temple), and ate the local restaurants, the Sichuan pickle dish cost only 50 yuan, (S$10) and the nanjing xiao chi is 30 yuan. (S$6). The fish is Singapore would easily costs about S$30 minimum.

I probably got my bad throat from Nanjing, due to the dry air when I just arrive plus the chillies dishes that I tried. (Greedy lah.. ) heheh :0
